What does Vievo do with HubSpot and my data?
- Does Vievo work without HubSpot?
- Yes. HubSpot is the CRM Vievo connects to directly today. From any other CRM, import a CSV export or a published Google Sheet in Settings, or type your deals in, and Vievo coaches from those. The free audit needs HubSpot. Vievo for HubSpot.
- What does Vievo read and write in HubSpot?
- Vievo reads your deals, companies, contacts and owners, with their meetings, notes, tasks and logged one-to-one sales email, and calls once you turn on call transcript coaching. Vievo writes nothing: its access is read only, and it asks HubSpot for no permission to write. Every permission, explained.
- Is my data safe with Vievo?
- Vievo keeps your HubSpot access keys on its servers only, never in your browser, and does not sell CRM data. Your coaching is private to you by default. Security and privacy says what Vievo keeps and who can see it.
- Can my manager see my coaching?
- No. Your coaching is private to you by default, including on team plans.
- Which AI does Vievo use?
- Vievo runs on OpenAI's GPT-6 Luna by default. In Settings you can add your own key from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google or Azure, and Vievo then runs your coaching on that key and the model you pick.
- How do I delete my data?
- A manager on your Vievo account opens Settings, then Connections, and chooses Disconnect and delete. Vievo then deletes everything it holds for your team and its access to HubSpot. Your data in HubSpot stays in HubSpot. For anything else, write to support@vievo.io.
How do I start, and what does Vievo do day to day?

- Sign up, then connect HubSpot: sign in to HubSpot, check what Vievo asks to read and press Connect app. Vievo reads your deals during setup and keeps them current after that. The HubSpot setup guide.
- Do I need an admin or my manager to use Vievo?
- Not your manager: a rep can sign up and use Vievo alone. HubSpot may need an admin. To connect, you need to be a HubSpot Super Admin or have App Marketplace Access. If you don't, HubSpot asks your admin to approve Vievo first. The HubSpot setup guide.
- Does Vievo send emails for me?
- No. Vievo writes the message, and you read it, change it and send it yourself. Vievo asks for no permission to send email from your inbox, and none to write to HubSpot.
- Where do Vievo's rules come from?
- Every play comes from a library of rules drawn from top-1% reps. Vievo shows the lesson card each deal play was written from. Deal coaching shows how a play is put together.
- Does Vievo work on calls?
- Yes, with Vievo Live, which is in early access. Vievo Live listens to your sales call on your computer and, when the buyer pushes back, shows one card for that moment on a panel only you can see. No bot joins the call and no audio is kept. It runs as a Windows app, or in Chrome or Edge. Vievo Live.
- Can I use Vievo inside Claude or ChatGPT?
